I love when people are direct with their feelings so we can mutually understand each other and build and understanding and apologize and rebuild if needed.
i love other autistic butches. butches who struggle with understanding gender and gender roles. butches who have self confidence issues bc of being bullied and/or difficulty understanding social cues. butches who are told they have a “male brain” bc of their disability and/or designated gender. butches who didn’t get diagnosed as a children because they didn’t fit stereotypes of autistic people. butches whose presentation and disability are linked. nonverbal butches. we’re all wonderful and our experiences should be listened to.
